A while back I got an email asking: "Are you by chance the same Steve
Satterfield that was in the Navy with me in the late 60's?" No, that was
not me.
I am the Steve that grew up in Forsyth County, North Carolina. After graduating
N. C. State, I
moved to Maryland for a civil service job at the U. S. Naval Academy.
Following many years at USNA, I moved to the National Library of Medicine.
Currently I'm at the
National Institute of Standards &
Technology, in the Scientific
Applications and Visualization Group.
